Resume normal activities, but be prepared for some redness and swelling for several days. Apply cool compresses to reduce swelling.
The FDA has approved Juvéderm™ to reamin up to one year. Some people may see a depletion anywhere from 6 to 12 months.
Juvéderm™ should be avoided by those who have a history of excessive scarring, keloid formation, pigment disorders and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Temporary side effects may include swelling, tenderness, redness, uneven skin and bruising. As with any injection there is a risk of infection, but it is extremely rare.
