Micropeel

What is a MicroPeel?

A MicroPeel reverses the outward signs of aging using microdermabrasion and a chemical peel leaving the skin feeling smooth and soft.

How does a MicroPeel work?
Microdermabrasion polishes the dead layer of skin off the face allowing the chemical peel to penetrate the skin to stimulate and nourish the skin or control oil depending on the chemical peel used. Chemical peels vary.

Who are candidates for a MicroPeel?
Microdermabrasion is safe for most skin types except those with rosacea.  Chemical peels are safe for most clients unless they have allergies to certain ingredients.  You will have an opportunity to discuss this with your consultant prior to treatment.

Are there any possible side effects?
The treated area may be pink to red following treatment. The skin may flake over 3-7 days, the pinkness will subside within minutes to hours of treatment.

Will there be any downtime?
Patients can immediately return to normal activity after the procedure.

How soon will results appear?
You can expect to see full results within three or four days.

Is additional treatment necessary?
A series of micropeels done over a four to six week period results in a better outcome than a single treatment.
